It's Time For CHOI SI WON's Birthday!

He’s handsome, a good actor, a good singer and also a good model…

CHOI SI WON, who commonly known as SI WON, is celebrating his REAL birthday today. Okay, a handsome man who born on April 4th 1986 in Seoul, South Korea, is celebrate his 25 years born day (26 in Korea). Si Won has a English Name called Andrew Choi and Chinese Name called 始源 Shi Yuan. His blood type is B. And anyway, what are his nicknames? He usually calls Simba (Lion) and Horse.

Si Won growth in a strict Christian family. He believe to God and always praise the  Lord. He ever said to “Men’s Health” Magazine that the most precious thing for him is a Holy Bible. Because Holy Bible is instructions or guidelines for his life. With believe in God his life feels more better and lights.

Si Won had joined 3rd Wave Music, a group for praising Lord, and the also do for charity. Bellow “The Group Prayer” on December 1st 2010.

Si Won:

1. Si Won’s mind – Please pray that Lord Jesus teaches Si Won how to see situations as the Lord sees them so that Si Won can always walk in His truth and principles as opposed to confirming to this corrupted world (Romans 12:2). Also, pray that Si Won will always be filled with the Holy Spirit (John 4:23, Psalm 63:1).

2. Si Won’s activities – Please pray that Si Won will always lean on God and lead a healthy lifestyle: eat well, drink well, and have good-quality sleep. Also, pray that God will bless him with success in whatever he does: the filming of Athena: Goddess of War that will be aired on December 13th on SBS, Super Show 3 concert in Guang Zhou, China on December 25th, MC-ing ‘ICON’ music shows, preparing Super Junior M’s new album and Super Junior’s 5th album, filming commercials for endorsements and various activities. Pray that Si Won will always be a blessing for the nations.

3. Si Won’s family – (Isaiah 59:21) Please pray for Si Won’s lovely parents and sister Ji-Won Choi to always be together in Christ and live only for Christ. Let His peace always fill them all, and this Christmas, may they be even more in love with God. Also, pray for Si Won’s beloved brothers in Super Junior: Lee Teuk, Hee Chul, Shin Dong, Ye Sung, Sung Min, Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, Ryeo Wook, Kyu Hyun, Kang In, Ki Bum, Han Geng, Zhou Mi, and Henry to always be in good spirits.

 

Si Won has a younger sister called Choi Ji Won.

Si Won is the only son of the owner of second biggest retail (supermarket) chain in Korea, Hyundai Department Store.

Before he became an entertainer, his father disapproved him become an entertainer, because he’s as the only son must continue his father’s company. But because of Si Won’s persistence to followed the audition (Starlight Casting System in 2003), at least his father allowed him become an entertainer. At first, Si Won secretly followed the audition, but after he successfully passed the audition, his parents allowed him to sign under SM Entertainment under the agreement that Si Won would remain as a full-time student. He also told Si Won that he wouldn’t offer him any help, wanting Si Won to learn life lessons by working independently.

Si Won officially joined with Super Junior in 2005. And in 2008 he joined Super Junior M with 6 other members; Han Geng, Kyu Hyun, Ryeo Wook, Dong Hae, Zhou Mi and Henry Lau.

He’s not only a singer, he’s an actor and so a model he is. He often plays in dramas. Many drama which he starred like; Charnel Boy (KBS), Parent’s Approval (KBS), Precious Family (KBS2 – 2004), 18 VS 29 (KBS – 2005), Spring Walts (KBS -2006), Legend of Hyang Dan (MBC – 2007), Oh! My Lady (SBS – 2010), Athena: Goddess of War (SBS – 2010) and the new one, Extravagant Challenge (Taiwan – 2011) with Super Junior Dong Hae. Aside drama, also he starred movies; Battle of Wits (2006) and Attack on the Pin-Up Boys (2007).

Apart from acting and Super Junior, Si Won has also appeared in various catalogs and commercials. He modeled along with girl group F(x), Choi Sulli on March 3rd 2010 in André Kim’s fashion show. He has also been featured in notable magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, and Men’s Health, as well as modeling for large brand names such as Armani, Lacoste, Gucci, Evisu, and several other exclusive brands. He also recently endorsed and modeled for the SK Telesys “Reaction” smart phone, also appearing in the phone’s commercial.

Si Won is also a drummer. He have performed with his senior label mates TRAX in September 2006 on SBS’s music show Popular Songs due to the fact that their drummer, Rose, had left the band. He’s skilled in Taekwondo and became the youngest in Korea holding the fourth rank in the black belt. On May 18th 2010, Si Won underwent surgery to remove his inflamed salivary gland. He had been taking anti-inflammatory medicine for the inflammation during filming for the SBS drama, Oh! My Lady. However, his condition worsened and he had to undergo an operation for it.

During performance, Si Won often showed his chocolate abs to his fans. OMG! He’s really a perfect guy, thou. ^^

There’s any fallacy of Si Won’s birthday. This is because his parents enrolled his birthday on February 10th 1987. But actually his REAL birthday is April 7th 1986.
